Questions, answered.
Everything you might want to know about our Medjool dates — from storage to shipping, harvest seasons to wholesale.
01What is the difference between Medjool and Majdool dates?
Medjool and Majdool are the same fruit — the spelling simply varies by region and transliteration of the Arabic name. We use Medjool, the international spelling, but you may also see it written as Majdool, Mejdool, or Majhool.02Where are your Medjool dates grown?
All of our Medjool dates are grown in our heritage palm groves in the Jordan Valley, where warm days, cool nights, and fertile alluvial soil produce some of the largest, most caramel-sweet Medjool fruit in the world.03How should I store Medjool dates?
On arrival, store your dates in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. For extended freshness, transfer them to an airtight container and refrigerate. Properly stored, our dates remain at peak quality for up to 12 months. They can also be frozen for up to 24 months.04Are Medjool dates healthy?
Medjool dates are a whole-food, plant-based source of natural energy. They are naturally rich in potassium, magnesium, copper, and antioxidant polyphenols, and provide roughly 23% of daily fiber per serving. Our dates contain zero added sugar — only what nature put there.05Are your dates organic?
We farm our orchards with low-intervention, traditional methods — hand-pollinated, sun-ripened, and free of artificial curing. While our certifications are renewed each season, please contact our team for the most current organic, halal, and Global GAP certificates.06Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide via insured express carriers. Transit times typically range from 2–4 business days within Jordan and the GCC, and 4–9 business days for Europe, North America, and Asia. See our Shipping & Returns page for full details.07Do you offer wholesale pricing for hotels, retailers, and gifting partners?
Yes. We work with hotels, restaurants, gourmet retailers, and gifting partners worldwide on bulk orders, custom packaging, and private-label programs. Please contact us via WhatsApp or email for a wholesale catalogue.08What is the shelf life of your products?
Whole Medjool dates carry a 12-month shelf life. Stuffed and chocolate-coated products range from 6–8 months, while our pantry items (date paste and syrup) last 10–18 months. Each product page lists its specific shelf life.09Can I visit your shop in Amman?
Absolutely. Our shop is located in Amman Mall on Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Street. We are open Sunday to Thursday from 9am to 6pm, and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Closed on Fridays.10What is the harvest season for Medjool dates?
Medjool dates are harvested between late August and October each year. We climb each palm up to nine times during the season to select only the fruits that have reached perfect tender amber, which means our packing happens fresh through autumn.
